Background:
This is my 1995 Mustang GT. It was my first car, so I'm kind of partial to it. It started out as a bolt-on car that got way out of hand. I got addicted to building it more and more. It has been about a 4 year project to get it to where it is now, and it still isn't finished yet. I started out by deciding that I wanted to do something out of the ordinary for a Mustang. This is why I decided to do a turbo setup for it. I did this by going to Kisor Performance here in Cincinnati, Ohio (513-891-2295) and we just went from there. After we got the engine out of the car, it went off to be painted. The design was made up of a bunch of designs that I had seen in magazines and at different car shows and I got the "metal plate" look from the guys who painted it (they had a helmet painted in the plates). I also went with the Cobra 'RR' hood for that last touch to the exterior and has helped out in the end for clearance for the spyder intake. Once we got it back at Kisor's it was back to putting it back together. The install went surprisingly smoothe. For the first season, we ran the factory block bored and stroked to 331ci.This yielded 575hp and 600tq on just 8lbs of boost. Since then we have replaced the entire bottom end again and did a complete build on a Dart block, added a C4 tranny, redone the interior (thanks to Corbeau Seats), put the cage in and finished the interior. Since the new build we are expecting around 850hp. This will be my first season to race it and I will not stop until I get a 9 second pass out of it.
