Background:

This car was actually my ex girlfriends daily driver.  After we broke up she blew the engine and sold the car to me about 7 years ago for a whopping $500.  I bought the car with the intention of throwing a $325 exchange short block in it and selling it, but I got bit by the bug.  I did throw the cheapo engine in it, but ended up sprayin it to an 11.30 ¼ mile.  After that we built a 383 small block, and sprayed it with 350 shot of cheater juice.  The fastest it went on the spray was 10.20 @ 133.  A buddy of mine talked me into turbo charging it while eating at a Mexican food restaurant.  The next day I was ordering u and j bends, and then I built the headers.  This is the first turbo system I have fabbed, and I actually bought the welder the day before I tacked the first header together.  The whole build up topic is on the turbo forums here: http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=54429.0  With the exception of the cage, the entire car was built at my home in my garage.  This car is street driven.  I live 15 miles from town, and each time I cruise it it’s at least a 35 mile round trip.  If anyone has any questions about the car, or the setup, just email me.  Thanks go out to Nathan Munson, Brad Klein, Don Bailey, Mike Lamberson, Jason Evans, and everyone else who helped out with the build.
