Future plans: Future plans include putting a set of trick flow R heads on and a 96 mm turbo or maybe a set of twin 76 mm. Want to get the car into the low 9”s high 8”s.

Background:
The project originally started out on a 93 lx which I bought when I was 18. It’s the typical story one mod lead to another and before you know it I had mid to low second 12 second car on drag radials and all motor. But then I had this friend who had a turbo charged omni GLH. I was amazed at how quick this little four cylinder was and the turbo just had a cool sound to it. I figured if a turbo could make a four cylinder run like that imagine what a V8 would run like. So I purchased a street turbo kit from turbo technology. And with a set of GT 40 aluminum x heads and a cobra intake I was running Mid to low 11 sec passes in the ¼ mile. That lasted for about 3 years and I just got the itch to go faster. I made the decision that I didn’t want to cut up my 93 since it was my first car. So I found this four-cylinder mustang that was in a chicken coupe that I paid $200 for and starting building the car that you see above. And 2years after the purchase of that car I have a mid 9 sec car that I can drive on the street with confidence all I have to do is unbolt the sway bar and adjust the shocks and the car is a pleasure to drive to the local shows and hang outs.
