Background:   I have owned this car since the late 80's. It came from the factory with an LS5 390hp 454. It has gone through many engine/power adder combo’s since I bought it (NA, Nitrous, Centrifugal Supercharger, Turbo). With worked factory Oval ports the car was a fun 10 second ride. I won the inaugural Hot Rod Magazine Fastest Street Car Real Street class race and drove home with my $1000 winnings. I have raced as far west as Kansas (Heartland), east as Pennsylvania (Beaver Springs), South as Florida (Moroso), North as Michigan (Milan). Best NA pass was 10.70's @ 127 with worked Factory Oval ports and mid 10's at 130 with Brodix heads. The car became miserable to drive with the dominator, big brodies, big gears, dual 4” flowmasters and 8" converter. I switched to boosted power in the late 90’s. A pump gas stock eBay $500 1970 350HP 396 mule motor ran high 10’s@14lbs of boost….I was hooked. I put my tried and true 468 back together with less compression and ran 10.30’s with the Procharger combo. Wanting more power I built the Turbo combo in ‘06. I had plenty of pipe, flanges and components and started on the new combo. I picked up additional parts from site sponsors dave@majestic Turbo and Dman (RacePartsSolutions). The extra torque of the combo caused some transmission issues. I was blowing through the converter so I sent it back to get tightened up, at the same time I built a new transmission. The car is hefty at 3750lbs and still retains power windows and locks along.
