+1, mine exited right out of the H-pipe and just revving it in neutral it sounded o.k. (turbos spinning and shit), but driving it around it was too much.

what do you meen when you say too much?? it seems some of the cars i have heard from inside the car atleast, you didnt really hear much exhaust(rumble) at all just the turbo. every time the throttle was touched just for a couple seconds driving around town, sounded like a powerstroke with 5in exhaust. when he jammed it of course you could hear the exhaust. i want my car to sound like that soo bad. the kit on the car im talkin of has a stg.1 hp kit on it so i doubt it has a 4in dp or somethin crazy. any ideas???? its killin me

open downpipe mine sounded sweet just driving lightly on the pedal.  but idling and slowing down sounded like a wet fart.  it was ok at first, but got annoying after the first drive or so.  ive accually got an in car test run with the open down pipe. i was trying to watch the guages all at onceand couldnt do it.  hense the camera and bad video of a turdbo cobra. Doh!
the dp dumped under the car at the floor board 3" bearly any boost in the vid.  just give you an idea how it sounded open stock motor.

this is with new motor, fcam, heads, magnaflow dumped at axle etc...
http://media.putfile.com/fcam-idle-on-turbo-car
than the outside idle and one gear romp still dumped 3" magnaflow at axle. Wink

With my open H-pipe the exhaust was exiting right below my seat.  It was way too raspy, loud, and shitty sounding for my taste.  With tailpipes it might not have been that bad as it would have exited behind the car.  Now when I would get the turbos to spool up it would overtake the annoying exhaust sound, but there's no way to drive with the turbos constantly spooled.

is there any differance between the ultra flows ss and welded? or just one is shiney and more expensive, and does flow direction matter on these mufflers like flowmasters.

Look for Millhouses setup.  He's running no mufflers with tips.

I'm running these on my car. It's fairly quiet at idle but they seem like they're going to make some noise at speed. I just found some faulty lifters so i'm swapping them out right now, then I can get a good video of them.

He's also got an idle shot somewhere if you PM him.

DaOnE51T how is the sound when your cruising?

Very quiet & unnoticable during idle/cruise.

dp is 3.5, muffler is 3", what diameter is the pipe??  huh

After the 3.5 dp I put a 3.5" to 3" reducer to a 3" pipe than the 3" muffler w/ turndown.

that may be restrictive, don't you think??

i just bough two Borla ProXS mufflers 3" inlet/oulet..

hope it will sound stock or cool.. hehe
