A short video of Will Stevenson and his Outlaw Drag Radial BBC/F3/Blowthrough Camaro. This video was taken last night at Gainesville Raceway. The track was not very good, and it surprised us when the car didnt spin the tires. Sorry the quality is so crappy, the video is from my little Cannon still shot camera and it does not zoom when it is on the "fast frame rate" setting, which is a whopping 60 frames a second, lol. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Will-Stevenson-Making-a-Test-Pass_159504.htmSooo, how quick/fast do you guys think it went PS, those of you that already know.....SSSHHH!!

Amazes me every time I see a video of that car. I don't think I've ever seen a car that fast leave the line so smoothly with so little drama.

Oh, the Mustang is a guy we know from Ocala. Its a SBF nitrous combination and has been on the bumper before. I think I heard that he broke his spool.

Well, like I mentioned earlier, the track was not very good. Will pulled a ton of timing (more than he has ever pulled out before) to get the car to move and not blow the tires off of it like it did on the first pass. After a 1.360 60ft, the car went 5.05 @ 151 to the 1/8th, and 7.62 @ 191 to the 1/4. The car has been 7.51 @ 190.8 in the past, but with much better early track numbers. He has run 4.88 to the 1/8 in the past, again on a much better track surface in better weather. Will and Denny get all the credit, I help with whatever small stuff I can. I am heading to Sunshine Dragway (Clearwater) with them on Saturday for their monthly "Heads Up Madness" event and we all hope that the track is good

Believe me, you've been a tremendous help to this WHOLE program. All your research, all your time on the dyno, your quick hands and good eyes, your passion for learning and your ability to listen, and all your help at the race track [when you can be there]... Me and W.J. call that - "Youth and Exuberance"... All you guys out there listen carefully to this kid, he knows A LOT.. I just dont let him tell everyone everything... Respectfully - Denny Savage

It does sound wild doesnt it? On one of the later passes he had some tire shake and the video really got wild. On his 7.62 pass, the car went 5.05 to the 1/8th, later in the evening the car was going even quicker, but drifting out of the groove so the run was aborted. Will still pulled down the number 1 qualifying spot, but got beat in the semis to the #2 qualifier (explain to me how that works??!!??) when he red lighted. Unfortunately the car spun anyways so we were still headed home anyways
