So how well does a very experinced Chrysler mechanic pay in florida??? Cheers!

You dont want to know. No union here either. If you mention the word union they'll escort you and your tools off the property. It wouldn't be so bad if they'd stop slashing warranty times. I just got 11.7 for replacing a block and pistons on an 06 Crotchfire yay  Fuck Fuck!

Blown385 sorry to hear about the car but yea at least it wasn't the truck. How does your back feel? You may want to see a chiropractor even if you feel fine. I wound up with 2 herniated discs after I got rearended several months ago. I just spent 7 days out of work cause I woke up one morning and couldnt walk. I'd suggest getting a lawyer to protect yourself so you dont get screwed. This day and age they are a necessary evil. FWIW

They only paid you 11.7 hours for stripping a motor down and puting a new block back together? Did you have to put it in and out of the car too??

Oh yeah I work the same warranty times up here but make $39 an hour. I was just curious what they paid down there. I stay far away from motor work, transmission was OK, managed to wrangle my way onto a alignment rack and do front end and brakes.  Cheers! Oh yeah and no unions up here. Far too redneck for that. Blown385: Do they have some kinda BRPV? I know when I built mine it cleaned it up alot on the line when trying to spool. Never got mine quite right before I decided to go EFI.

Located in Northern Alberta... Grande Praire to be exact. Love the summers, hate the winter. The cost of living is higher but the pay more than makes up for it. I was just curious what the going rate was down there so I could maybe make plans in a few years. Only have like 10 years left on the house. It would be nice to be able to have the hotrod out more than 7 months...

I dont Bob belives in them . LOL

I've already talked to Kevin , just in case .    I really hope The Carb Shop gets it right , because Kevins turn around is not looking good right now . Hes VERY busy .

I'm glad to see that The Carb Shop is taking the time to get it right on the dyno before shipping .

Another day goes by with no call though . Cry

Update on my wife's car :

Other driver had Progressive and only a 10,000 limit , so my insurance ( USAA ) will pay for the whole thing . I was also carrying UM so it should be cool .

Progressive told me they are dropping the claim anyways because he was delivering pizzas , and that was a big no no .  They told me there are two scenarios where insurance companies will not pay . If you are being chased by the cops , or if you are delivering pizzas .  Doh!

I'm pretty sure the pizza place is required to have a policy for all of the drivers. The pizza place should pay.

I know several years ago when I looked into a paper route for some extra cash the newspaper required some rediculous ass insurance that had twice or three times the limits than the "full coverage" that I was allready carrying at the time. Not sure if it is the same with pizza places or not but I am pretty sure insurance companies want to know anytimes you are using a vehicle for "work".

If they didn't make sure their employee had the required insurance, then they are at fault. - Definitely making the right move getting a lawyer. As much as I hate to say it, it's pretty much a requirement now-a-days.

My wife got hit by a red-light runner while riding with a friend. I was always against traffic lawsuits and such, but I wasn't about to pick up the tab for the ambulance ride, and all the medical bills. The air bags did not deploy(toyota solara, hit across front by Jeep cherokee, impact above bumper) and the seat belt f'ed up here shoulder. Two surgerys(one to install hardware, another almost a year later to take it all back out). - Our lawyer got all bills covered, plus any possible future bills, as well as "pain and suffering" for her likely life-long shoulder/back pain, and his own fees were covered/excluded from the settlement. Never went to court, hell, we never even met with him other than the initial consult and to sign the final agreement papers. She just faxed in all info as things happend(dr appointments, etc).

They are not adjustable .

We shall see how close they got .........................           It will be here Thurs .   Oohyah!
