Its a griffen 27.5x19x3 Big mother fucker hahah.
Only issue I have now is i cant drive on the highway it still heats up! I think due to the 3.42 rear and reving at 3500rpm kinda heat soaks everything. And my water pump is 4years old, I may send it in this year for a rebuild.

I think it is total outside diamensions.
Very nice quality rad tho!...alot of the 4th gen guys are running the same rad but only a 2.25 thick version.
Driving around the city for like 3 hours it wont get over 175ish, I made 4 pulls in a row when racing a mustang and only saw like 185-190, then it cooled right down
Just the highway is an issue still....hoping the 3.0 gear in the 9inch will help

do you have a air deflector under the car like the factory did?that might make a difference on the highway as the third gens are bottom feeders for the cooling system

I hate you. J/K, my build is very similar. I have a GT4202 I'm putting into my 89 with a 358, and seeing this build gave me some great ideas on how to gain space. Namely relocating the radiator and such forward. That will give me room for the 4" downpipe. Few questions, sorry if you answered this earlier, but what turbine housing do you have and how is the spool on the 383? I'm seeking 3500 spool with the 1.05 a/r T6 housing I currently have.

You really have me thinking about snatching this think down off of racingjunk and putting the 6.0L LS that I have sitting on the stand down in there (with a little turbo help ). Rodney

Sorry guys been a lazy mofo, I went to go put the hotside back on yesterday...the merge that has the turbo flange, the 2 pipes to the crossover and the wastegate cracked then warped down, so now the crossover hits the accesories. SO i have to build a new one outta thicker steal!....so more delay.
Ive been house shopping so i havnt had much time to work on it either.
Hopefully in the next few weeks ill get her going.

update...i bought my first house.....fixed the hotside on the car, fired it up and the headgaskets are fucked! Shot a bunch of coolant outta the merge. I dunno why, last time I drove the car (month and a half) it was perfect, didnt blow smoke, oil was fine etc.
So the car is done for the year, once i move into my house I will tear the motor down and check it all over.
