OK its been a long enough sense ive got to build something, much less something of mmy own, so here is the start of my 438 windsor build for a coupe with sporting street radial tires?not drag radials. Were talking about your everyday multipurpose tire. P.S. Their are secrets to making a street tire hook. Grin Yes its a all motor car for now. This car should run 7.70 in the 1000ft. On street tires. Two Thumbs Up!

Combo rundown- In coupe that was saved from certain death. Cool

  Motorsport "W" Block
  Victor 7721 Heads
  Eagle 4340 6.250 rod
  Eagle 4340 forged 2.749 main/4.100 stroke crank.
  Venolia .125 dome Pistons
  JE Pins
  Akrely&Childs rings
  TD Shaft mount rockers
  Titanium valves
Comp custom grind Solid roller. Think "big" is all im allowed to tell you about the cam. ;)Sorry. Many hours spent at KuntZ&Co. Working on the profile.
  Super victor Intake
  1195 King Demon R.S.
  Aeromotive A2000 Fuel System.
Sorry if I missed anything right now, ill be updating with pics real soon. I will also post pics and keep this updated throughout the hole build. Their is plenty of people i would like to give special thanks too for this project and will update soon.
   Matt.

Looks like it's going to be a beast of a motor.  Judging by the pics, you're not going to boost and you're running a dry sump??  Is this a street car?   It's been awhile since I've seen a fox with sidepipe setup so I'm sure you'll recieve a ton of questions on them.

Good start so far.

Thanks i appreciate it. Its a wet sump for now and all motor. When i started piecing this thing together about 3 years ago a turbo was the last thing on my mind, but since then i bought a 94 cobra off a form member and ive been adicted to boost ever sence. The main purpose of this motor was to run in a all street tire class that had to have a dot 300 treadware tire, hince no drag radials. This motor actually has been together once before and ran a 7.89 in the 1000ft. on a Winston Winner street tire, I know its a crazy ass class that not many people would ever believe.
I plan on playin in the street radial class this year and then over the winter pull out the pistons/cam and start getting it ready for twin GT47-88 and FAST XFI. The motor is 15.5.1cr. right now and going to run c16. The car is not a street car but it will be running in a class were tags and insurance is manditory. As for the coupe its a good frieds car that is building a Ztrim motor for it but he donated it to the cause for this year. Its funny people either hate this car or love it, as for me i love the side pipes on this coupe even though they will be for looks with my motor in it. Two Thumbs Up! The motor was supposed to be shifted a 8,000 but i dont think im going to turn it that hard for a while.

Well the block is still at the machine shop and i still havnt got any of the parts in yet. Maybe the rings, bearings, ect will be here by the end of next week so i guess its time for me to start working on the car itself.

Can't wait to see what this motor will do.  Run some 3" pipes to those side pipes and enjoy the compression rumble.  It'd make for a good loud sound at the lights when staged.

Keep it up.

Must be some "real" serious racers if they're talking crap about the motor in these pics.  I think it's going to scream for you.  You'll change your mind about swapping pistons and just keep it as is, if not throw a simple 125 or so shot on it.

I say fuck them.  Build it and don't let anybody get to you about it.  You'll shut everyone up on your time.  I'm pretty sure of that.

Subscribing. Building a boosted version of your motor. Good luck man. Looks like it'll be a hand full for sure.

I'm really glad to see that people are liking this build. I have a whole list of parts ordered from Kuntz&Co. That I'm suppose to pick up this weekend. So hopefully I will be assembling a motor and updating some motor secrets that will keep them alive longer at high rpm. Wink

Have you had them flowed ? I plan to once I get time to clean them up. But I couldn't find any particular number on my castings. Sure it's up there though. There is no short side radius on the exhaust.  Wink

Im pretty sure they flowed 347 on a superflow. The guy that ported them is the only person that i will let port my heads + he is thousands cheeper than others. They may not have the re-sale value of a set of C&C but i know i like his work. He is all about MPH when he does a set of heads. Its so funny to me because im putting this motor up against 550+in big block chebys and they have only ran 1mph faster than this motor did. I fully plan on getting the new mph record and the et record with this thing when its back together. My friend that i bought this setup off of is a member on here that is building a outlaw 10.5 car, he held the record with this motor for a long time, but the new record is only a tenth and 1mph faster than what he ran in 3,100lb car. Im only making a few minor changes to the setup for weight reasons.
This car is going to be on 275/60/15,400 treadware street radials. Grin Is your setup in the builds board anywhere?

That's the build. Took it down, then deals started popping up everywhere. So the new goal is not to crash the car. think I may skip the E85, and go pump and a solid from Steve
