Damn, you could have eaten a sandwich, as straight as it goes. Just smooth as can be. I believe she needs more boost to make it a bit more violent. lol! Make you work for that .50! Just ask whatever about the ignition. If I don't know I can find out at work. The 7531 is what we run in all our cars. I have wired many of them. Granted we are a nitrous company, I can still find out whatever you need. More than happy to help.

The only thing I really haven't figured out is how to set the slew limiters when the tires break loose . It would probably be hard to explain unless I could actually watch someone do it . Planning a trip to see Mickey any time soon ? But isn't traction control cheating anyways .

more boost is what it needs for sure Everyone knows that more boost fixes traction problems. I believe we have found a car where more power is not the answer...

He had some sort of ignition box interfeence with the air shifter, so he unhooked it and went about his business. The 60' definitely calmed down nicely with the shocks set a bit stiffer. It'd been nice to seen if it could have handled 18psi that night, that track had it going on! Got to give props to GM on the block, especially when compared to a 302..... I don't think you'd even get a "glory pass" out of an OE ford block like that.

Randy - how many leafs are you running in the spring packs? OE? What's the pinion angle? Once you get bars on it, I'd take it down to the two longest leafs only, and around 3-4* negative pinion angle. PST out of Clearwater builds some great driveshafts for the money. I know of some big name 10.5 and radial guys abusing the hell out of their stuff w/o any issues. - Wish I could have stopped by to say hi, I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off helping a couple cars. [/quote] I have not checked any of that before I am going to do that when the new shaft and yokes get here I would haft to check but I beleive it has 5 leafs I was going with caltracs after the first of the year but I am willing to do what ever can help me fore the time being I am getting Advance Driveshaft Specialess in Orlando to make me a shaft and get the yokes.I wish I could have talk to you at the track could you pm me your # thanks.

I wouldn't soften the leafs till you get the bars. They'll react better being softer(lesser leaves) but they'll be able to wrap easier(thus wheel-hop). I have the big aftermarket u-bolts on the 'maro; it's going 1.teen 60fts, hoping for better this weekend. Check the pinion angle vs the driveshaft angle, you'll want around 4* negative angle. With leaf springs you can either put in wedged shims or cut the perches and re-weld. PM'd

Ive always heard you should run 3-4 degrees of negative angle on the pinion, what happens if you dont?

Incorrect driveline angles can cause all kinds of various gremlins/failures/damage. Stole some more pics from N2S: and just cause:

Yep . It shifted into second as soon as I let go of the trans brake . I'm thinking it must have seen some kind of interference .
Not interference ......................... more like ignorance . lol Launch light was still set on default . ( 3200rpm ) so as soon as I let go of the T-brake it must have triggered the " launch light " Launch Light: This programs an rpm window that will illuminate the shift light when the correct rpm is reached for the holeshot. When the rpm is in this window the light will be on solid. If the rpm goes high, the light will flash. If the rpm goes low, the light turns off. Anyway ............. I'm going to try it again . Problem is , I need it regulated to 80psi for a quick hard shift . If I hook up the AMS with this much pressure , I'm afraid it will use the CO2 too fast . The AMS is always trying to reach target pressure , so it is constantly bleeding off pressure to do so . Any suggestions on a regulator that I can run in line on the AMS ???????

Use a 2nd regulator for the AMS to get it lower.

This is the set up I came up with after talking to Sebastian at NLR . The switch will be used to go from track to street . Basically when you flip the switch , it puts 12v to the T-brake button and input #2 on the AMS . It also switches from turbo pressure to CO2 pressure using a solenoid . When the switch is in the other position it will run on stage 1 . When the T-brake button is pushed , it puts 12v to the tranny and the input #1 on the AMS . I think this is right .
