Looks good Quik!  The mighty 4.8 lives on! lol!  You should get a divided housing for that turbo and put a quick spool valve on it.  Would really give you a faster spool and wider power band.  Can't wait to see how it all comes out.
yea it lives and hopefully nets me the goals i want for the camaro.  I dont see myself tossing a quick spool valve on it since i have a 2step

Ya, the two-step is good for building boost on the line, but doesn't do anything when your driving around and just playing.  The QS valve is great for on the street.  On my truck when it's closed, the turbo is spooled up and whistling, ready to go into boost all the time when driving around, but when it's blocked open, I almost never hear the turbo until I really get into it.  Makes a BIG difference just in driving around.  WAY more fun! o i believe it does wonders but heres how i look at it. under 4500 its easy driving for me above that im in boost.  if im doing any kind of street action its usually from a roll and then i brake boost

well today i made some more progress. Todays progress consisted of working on the manifold.  As you can see the plugs are easily accessible and changable.

still leaves room to run stock heaterhoses

here you can see a mock up of the 4" dowpipe

in this pic youll see i have plenty of room on how the DP will route. ill be making a 90* turn and go between the engine mount and the block

also as you see the frotn view that is how the bay will look as for no wires or etc.  All wires will be underneath the car to give it that clean bay look

made little progress today.  I channel'd the frame using a piece of 4" pipe. This was done for the 3" outlet.

i still need to address the welds some but thats another day along with the other work done in other areas

here you can see how the nose is supported along with how the IC and its tubing looks

Here is todays progress.

I welded up the holes in the bay with 16guage. I had a 4.25" hole cut so my charge pipe could pass thru with the clean look

in these two pics you can see the 2 holes i cut into another piece of 16 gauge.  1 hole is for the 3" charge pipe and other hole is for the 4" air intake

in this pic you can see the 4" pipe sticking down. Ill be tossing on a filter to this. I chose this postion for the filter for a cleaner look, cooler air and the pressurized air from behind the foglight
