Transmission Mount 727 '69 Dart
« on: October 18, 2009, 09:47:49 AM »

Which transmission mount do the guys running 727's under their Darts use? I have a Prothane "Tall" square one, but it's too tall. The extension housing hits the top of the cross member. I just can't get it in there. I don't have a complete old original one to compare with, and on the different supplier sites they never list the actual height of the mount. THe one I have is 3,5", but I think I need one that is only 2,75" tall. Anyone know?  huh

Been scouring the internet a bit more and found the mount like the one that was originally used in my car. It looks like this:

It's got rubber instead of polyurethane in between the steel plates, but at least it will fit.
