Wich clutch fork in SN95 with a TKO trans?

I'm going to mount a tko transmisson in my 1995 gt... I've heard that you need a fox clutch fork, is this true?
The bellhousing is the one that came with the Cobra R model!

I've got a lakewood bell in my 94, I thought the stock clutch fork was too damn long, so I used the fox one, and it was too damn short!    I was too lazy to pull the trans back out just to change clutch forks, so I  made my own extender to get it where I wanted it.  I used a piece of aluminum (1"x1-1/2"x4"), bolted it to the fork in two places, and drilled a hole in the end of it for the clutch cable to go through.  So now, I'm not sure if the stock fork would have been fine or not??  Either way, it's perfect the way it is now, my clutch cable stays pretty much directly inline with the hole in the bell housing.  I've crawled under there to check it several times, just because I feel like it's rigged, but apparently it was a damn good rig because it looks just like it did the night I rigged it.  All in all, I probably extended the fox fork by about 1-1/4" or maybe 1-1/2".

Should it work to take the 4.6 clutch fork?

I mean, the 3550 trans are standard in the 02 up GT's

the D&D guys said I need a 87-93 clutch fork... guess I try with that and modify if needed!

What bellhousing do you use BLOWNSN95?

Lakewood blow proof, and I hate it. 

I'll buy a Mcleod next time, they don't require run-out adjustment..

86-93 throwout bearing. You will need an extended clutch fork for a blow proof bell, several companies sell the special fork, including D&D. You will also need a 5/8" driveshaft spacer for a SN-95.

My gearbox has a 1 1/8 in shaft! There are no 86-93 throwout bearing with that dimension?!

Sure about the driveshaft spacer?

he mentioned the driveshaft spacer since the bellhousing on the sn95's are about 3/4 or so longer than fox bodies..i just sat my motor back that much in the chassis when i did mine..and i used a fox fork in mine as well..as for all blow proof bell's needing a extended fork,thats wrong..i use a quicktime now with the same fox fork..works fine

I ran a Fox bell, clutch fork and throw out, with a Steeda spacer. If I remember right I also had to do some fiddling with the crossmember. It's been over 10 years so, I'm a little foggy now.

Flip the Xmember 180* on the SN's to get it to line up with the trans. Ditch the SN  trans / exhaust mount bracket & bolt the mount directly to the trans with a fox exhaust mount (not really needed, but nice to have). Use the 86-96 fox throwout bearing & clutch fork. It does not ride on the input shaft, it slides over the bearing retainer, all of which have the same diameter. Use a 5/8" spacer for the driveshaft.

Once again, I have already done this, and I know what I am talking about. This is not the corral for gods sake.

except for the 86-96 part, I'm pretty sure all mustangs from at least 79-2004 use the same throwout bearing..

In order to get the TKO to go into your Mustang you’ll need exactly the parts you outlined.  As for the Throwout Bearing, it is exactly like the Stock Throwout Bearing used in the T-5.  The Spline being larger on the TKO doesn’t make the OD of the Tube the Bearing slides on any different. A TKO and T-5 Throwout Bearing are exactly alike.  As for the Cross-Member, you have to modify the existing one that is used with the T-5. 
Usually the 94-95 Mustang 5.0L Cross-Members have “slotted/elongated” holes where the Transmission Mount Attaches.  When installing the TKO you’ll see that the Trans. Mount sits forward about 1” more than that of the T-5.  Usually the transmission mount will still engage the two slots in the stock cross-member.  Now, before you pull the T-5 out it is important to take a measurement from the bottom of the tunnel to the center of where the output shaft exits the transmission (this is where the driveshaft engages transmission).  It is very important to get the TKO back to the same height as the T-5.  You may have to come up with “shims” if the proper height isn’t achieved after installing TKO onto stock cross-member.
