Nice build.  I'm definately interested to see how you are going to mount the turbo.  What are the specs on the turbo?

800hp and a bbc you should be fine.  is the 9inch rear a factory or aftermarket center section.  9 inchers are great but a factory 9 is rate at about 400-450 hp and then they like to chuck the pinion out the side of the case.  draw thru or blow thru.

It fired up on 3rd key turn, this is only using a quick squirt of fuel in the manifold though, just enough to check ive got it ready to fire when i try out my propane mixer. I am thinking about doing the cam run in with the 750dp i have on another car though so i can get it up to rpm quicker.

Im using a std replacement Accel chev Hei dizzy with a proform 50,000v coil. Do you think it will be ok for 5-6psi, before i upgrade to the digital 6al2 ? plug gaps around 0.6mm?

Below is a 454 i found thats basically the same as what ive built, but at 10:1 compression mine is std about 8.3-8.5 or so.  I cant wait to fry tyres  Grin

Using the 750 carb for breakin/troubelshooting is a good idea imo

Nothing wrong with the HEI.  Once you take out the factory internals and remote mount a coil you are good for more than 5-6.  Gaps in the .030" range to get rolling and tune things from there.

Got some noise and smell from it last night. My lpg convertors need spring kits so it didnt want to run on for more than a few seconds. The blue hose is temporary until my lpg hose comes in.

Most of under the bonnet is done now

other areas of the car to work on now
