is it possible to put twin turbos on a stock 3.1 1991 camaro? i know it will need beefing up in other areas just want to know if possible and where to look. Just want to be diiferent than just dropping a big motor in it...

Yeah it's possible to use a 3.1L There are a few people who have done it. Six_Shooter (I believe that who it is) here and on thirdgen.org has done it, and there is a turbo cavalier with that used a 3.1 then went to a 3.4 later on and he made great power.

save some time money and headaches, and go with a single t3/t4 turbo for ur car. i have a 3.1 camaro with a single t3/60-1 making great numbers at only 9 psi of boost. twins only complicate the plumbing and are more expsensive to do, i messed around with twin t3's on mine shortly before going to the 60-1 turbo

what T3s did you use? I would think a pair of K-car units would work great for something this size.

i used a pair of 42/48's off older volvos dont rember what trim they were but i belive it was a pair of 45 trims, could have been 50's though i had a problem with one turbo surging at part throttle so i never really did anything with the setup, found it easier to just revert back to the single setup heres a pic of one of the pair i was using
