Should the firing order for a sbf with a tfi dist running staggered batch be put in as 13726548 or 12345678 or 17643258 in the system setup for a gen7? I'm confused.

I have it set on the ho firing order and the car runs rich on the bank with cylinders 1234 and normal on bank 5678 (wb side) and I wondered if it could be changed. I'm having the trans repaired so it will be a while before I can try setting it 12345678.

Thanks for the info. I'll change the order and if that won't work I might go sequential.

is your box setup for seq or just the tfi? might be a bit of work to switch to seq if its tfi only

It can run a number of different strategies. It's has a pro key and all of the options are availible. I believe I would need the distributor and a harness adapter. I have used the pro key to change the injector settings to get decent a/f and plug readings for the 1234 bank but wihout readings for each individual cylinders I am leery of the results.

If you need a TFI adapter I have a spare one laying around in the garage.

Thanks for the offer Chris. I have the tfi setup and the car has ran decent times. I'm just put out by one side running rich. It's ran a 6.66/108 1/8 mile thru an aod with a 300 lb driver. The converter splines stripped and I am waiting to try a 31 spline converter and 1 piece shaft.
