Total Performance Can't Deliver

ordered and paid for my turbo kit from brad at total performance april 19 and he has failed to ship more then half my parts I was promised i would have everything within 5 weeks well 3 months later still waiting WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE REST OF MY PARTS??? why do you keep telling me you have shipped everything already and then when i see nothing but a couple of boxes after a more then a month of you telling me everything has been shipped out  i still have not received many parts such as turbo, intercooler, chip, intercooler piping, exhaust and many others also some instructions would be nice can't forget those also what am i suppose to do with a hole in one of the exhaust pieces you have sent me

Good luck getting instructions. I don't think and turbo kit company provides them.

As for your other stuff, they did file bankruptcy, so you might be assed out.

Forget that i better get instructions how the hell else am i suppose to make any sense outta a couple ziplock baggies full of nuts and bolts it'd take me at least a whole day to get everything sorted out and figure out what goes with what as far as me getting the rest of my stuff heres the email i got the day after i posted on this site

kit we are doing.  We have stopped production and will only do custom kits
built on cars here in the shop from now on.  You will get all your parts as
promised.  I am sorry for the delays, we are being held up by vendors and
doing our best to get everything out.  Vendors of parts and materials are
one of the reasons we are not doing this anymore as when we are held up by
them, it is out of our hands but the customer is still upset like you are
right now.  Thanks and you will have everything momentarily."

I was only told they were held up on the exhaust being coated I have also been told that my complete kit had already been shipped over a month ago
Also i have still not received reimbursement on shipping charges that brad promised me he would credit me back after i had complaint

Biggest mistake ever going with a turbo at least if i had gone with a supercharger it would have been on my car ages ago instead of waiting on parts for more then 3 months

Which kit did you get?

You won't regret going turbo once your stuff is done, you are going through the hardest part right now.

As for that email. Sorry to hear it man, it sucks.

street kit with 60-1 tial bov with blow thru also paid to have all the hot parts coated silver and polished but I will have to have everything i have received so far recoated or holes in the exhaust fixed but that will be done locally if i send it back i doubt i will ever see it again

Well what i meant is I could have already been enjoying boosted power if i had gone with a supercharger and as far as the whole turbo i doubt brad will deliver the rest of my parts but we will see
The big question is IF and WHEN i receive the rest of my parts

Also fitment of all the parts is on my mind

Sadly, if your kit is anything like the rest of them that i've heard about, your crossover pipe probably isn't going to sit straight on the flange on the pass. side manifold. You might want to watch out for this as it caused me two cracked headers and a ton of time diagnosing and fixing the problem. Fitment on the rest of the parts seems satisfactory (or at least it was in my case).

Sounds like Brad is still using the same old excuses.  Don't worry if the kit does not fit he will blame it on his bad employees.  I just wonder when this guy is going to give up and stop stealing peoples money.  At least he is not doing anymore mail order kits, that is at least a step in the right direction.  I just feal sorry for the sucker who drops his car off at Brads shop.

still waiting since april 19 almost 4 months now still no turbo, turbo blanket, intercooler, chip, injectors, maf, so basically the whole kit still think im missing some piping on the cold side and hot but ive been told i have everything. man what a waste of $5286

Man that truly sucks,First I would save the e-mail and file a complaint with the BBB.Maybe even try small claims court if they wont deliver your kit.I wish you the best in the outcome of the situation.

Hopefully you charged the kit on your credit card.  If you did, dispute the charge with your credit card company.  That is what I had to do a few years back when I had the same type of dealing with Incon.  I wrote the credit card co. a two page letter explaining what had happened, and what I had been told by Incon.  It took about 3 months but I got my money back no questions asked.  I learned a lession, I did my homework the second time around....ProturboKits...Order to my door 9 weeks, what a relief!!

still waiting on parts. I cant say enough about the poor quality parts and the horrible customer service total performance is by far the worst business I have dealt with yet
1.I was told by brad i would have a complete turbo kit within 5 weeks 4 months later im still waiting on parts and getting jerked around
2.this guy goes on vacation for over 3 weeks while i have still haven't received what i paid for and i zero contact with him during this time to find out what the hell was going on
3.brad has zero pride in his work a few examples holes in the down pipe "which supposedly was pressure tested" LOL yea riight horrible coating job on the exhaust not to mention the Y pipe was not coated welds look like dog droppings that fell from the sky
4.Brad tells me he will reimburse me on shipping 2 months later still waiting
5.Ordered Blue Tial bov and waste gate received polished instead reason for sending the polished instead of blue was becuase brad didn't want to hold me up any longer well if that was the case he send the rest of my parts
6.Parts I have received came in on 4 different shipments first one i received after about 2 months after i ordered the kit
7.Always throws the blame else where but 2 months ago I was told he was standing in his shop with ALL OF MY PARTS in front of him and he was packaging them up and he would be fed exing them to me by the end of the week Then he tells me everything has been shipped more then a week goes by nothing so I give brad a call and he tells me everything got sent back because it was a bad address and that he has been meaning to call me to get my address then about 2 weeks later i receive 2 boxes to this day I still haven't received the turbo, injectors, chip, exhaust bolts, turbo blanket, instructions,  and who knows what else this has been the biggest waste of $5300  I could go on and Brad has managed to screw up everything possible

I would not recomend buying anything from Total Performance

By the way Brad I am still waiting to be reimbursed for all of the problems I had to pay to have fixed.  My offer of sending me $50 a month still stands.  Be a man and show me that you are willing to take responsibility for your shop.

My favorite was when I dropped the gas tank to try and figure out why gas was running everywhere when I filled her up.  Turbolocity installed my tank with broken vent lines and had me drive the car 900 miles home in that condition.  You could clearly see the marks on the plastic from the wrench they used during the install.
