alkycontrol kit, 100% meth, it's insane. On my DSM I could run 23-24 psi on pump gas. With meth? Try 31, 32.

There are quite a few of us running methanol injection with great success. I am able to run 21 lbs of boost on 91 octane because of alky injection.
If you do a search there are a plethera of threads about this subject.

I've got two buddies running in the 11's with the eclipses and they both run ~24 psi every day on 93octane. How much timing are you running? I think they can't get away with very much.... I jsut ordered the snow performance kit.... hopefully will be here the end of the week

I heard the snow performance kit is okay because of the line they use. My buddy told me u have to mix water and methanol, but with razors kit the braded lines u use straight methanol

alky control kit as well. It is awesome. So far 16 psi on 93 and going to 20 psi after I put in my tranny and stronger bypass valve. 100% denatured.

You guys are getting me all excited here:snipe: . Is anybody running a DIY kit? I know there was a post a while back about how to make it and all that, but I can't seem to find it. I definitely want a kit, but if I can make a reliable one myself and save a few bucks, then I'm all for it. Are there any sites out there about how to make one?

just curious to what amount you other meth-heads are using? How is it injected and what size orifice with what pressure roughly?

When people say alky/water, they are refering to a mix of about 50% water, 50% methanol. So obviously, the later would be cheaper. Now, you can also substitute in other alcohols such at ethanol or isopropol, but from what I have read meth is the best "bang for the buck".

Is it true that the pump will not last as long using straight meth?

I have heard the meth is harder on the pumps too. I personally run 99% isopropyl. I understand that denatured and meth is better, but I got a killer deal on 55 gallons of iso.
I am using two jets (M5, M10). With those two jets it's injecting a shitload of alcohol. Generally I have it turned down a little anyway, but at full steam it really comes out of there.

Has anyone checked out the april '05 issue of 5.0 mustangs and superfords, on page 99, Anderson Ford Motorsports has started making a cheap kit that hooks up, and the whole kit only costs $170. they have it on their website www.andersonfordmotorsports.com, believe it is under "In The News", kinda gained my curiosity, but wanted to know if it would work or not. anyone seen or bought one yet?

I've read about the anderson kit. I am also interested in it. You don't use a pump for it either, thats what i found most interesting, would like to hear from someone who has used it.

Isn't methanol expensive? So by using 93 octane and methanol wouldn't it be cheaper to just use race gas??

I'm interested to see how that Anderson kit works as well. The page that boosted chicken put up is pretty sweet and seems like it would work as good as any, and according to him, it's the same price as the Anderson kit after you buy all of the pieces to make it. If it works THAT much better than the Anderson kit, then I'll go with it, but if there really wouldn't be any noticible difference between them, I think I'd get the Anderson kit.

the Anderson kit works off a vacumn source, so there's no pump. i really like it and look forward in getting a kit. once i get this dam turbo in. i like that fact that its simple design, and straight forward working aspect. the snow perforamce looks a little to pricey, but also comes with electrical hook ups and so forth. a more complicated design, but does seems to do the same thing. so thats seem to be why it cost more. i wish i had the mag issue with me at work so i could post more this about it. the write up was really good.

anderson ford motorsports has the entire article on their website, pictures and all. it is very interesting, especially with the simplicity of the kit, no electronics or anything. might have to dive in and check it out. think it said somewhere to use the windshield washer fluid that is rated for a lower freeze rate, which contains 10% or so that has methanol in it. hey wolverine, you must have been one of the first ones that bought one of the kits. anyway that you could give us a before and after the kit was installed, what were you pulling before it? also, what all had to be done, besides just installing the kit? thanks in advance. wonder if there could be a group purchase price in the future? maybe a phone call is in order, what do you think?

I think he's using an SMC kit, not Anderson's. I don't like andersons at all, not enough pumping pressure, spraying right into the impeller is scary as shit, can't spray on an intercooled car, plus you get the best cooling effect spraying AFTER the air has been heated up.

Before the install on pump gas car only made 680rwhp 791torque at 15psi timing set at 16. anything over 15psi the car will pining. We got the SMC kit install with the big nozzel straigh methanol no water we turn the boost up to 25 and timming to 24. and bang 959rwhp and 1023torque. We made that much power but to me nothing work better like C16 I am selling methanol kit. The only reason for me to sale this kit is to buy a water cooler. http://www.turbomustangs.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34697
