Allright! Well I pretty much can now say I have a longblock. I took some pictures of the heads that angie at Daves Engine went through. She installed an all new valvetrain consisting of bigger and stronger valve springs, titanium intake and inconel exhaust valves(look at those bad boys shine!!), and new retainers and keepers. She also gasket matched the heads to my intake manifold. I installed the heads using MLS gaskets and installed the lifters but the crossbar just barely touched the block so I had to massage those a little bit. Now I can get some pushrods ordered up and onto the dyno we go!!!

Man time flies when I'm not paying attention to my thread! So the latest and greatest for anyone that cares is the red '67 mustang I bought off of this board has now been turned into a street car. I couldn't bring myself to cut it up and make a racecar out of it. So I wanted to find a '94-98 mustang roller and sure enough 95silverstallion on here had his car for sale. We worked out a price and he shipped out the car to me. Very good seller btw!

That car is being built for the WCHRA limited 10.5 class. When I got the car it was all like Brian said but I was looking at the cage with my fabricator and it didn't really fit me well. So we took out a couple of bars and the next thing you know we started from scratch. It got it's 8.50 cert about a month ago and now I'm onto making the motor/midplate, tubular front end from Team Z motorsports, mounting the fuel cell, battery, and transcooler. I only have rollcage pics right now but I'll get some other progress pics up very soon.

Thanks, Ben

It's really difficult to live vicariously through you when you don't update your thread for a year.  welder
