anyone have any info on the size exhaust(single or twin)that would be capable of supporting 500hp with mufflers(no cat) in a windsor TT setup?? also anyone considered or used a seperate muffler for the wastegate.....lots of info about how redirecting it into the exhaust after the turbo is harmful to flow,,,also lots of info about how impractical venting it to atmosphere is on the street. thanks paul

well i can tell you that on a 302 with a single kit.. i ran a 2 1/2inch down pipe that went to a dual 3 inch cat back with mufflers and no cats and made 457 pretty easily at 11psi with ver conservative timing

thanks brian,
i was hoping to get away with a single 2 1/2" and muffler off each turbo as i don't have a lot of ground clearance/room for 3"........anyone hazard a guess at the hp restriction with this set up??
also anyone done any testing with mufflers on/off dyno testing??.......how much hp do you loose??
anyone suggest mufflers for good flow whilst keeping the noise streetable??
thanks paul

ohyou can do that easily... your only trying to get 250 out of each 2 1/2dp you can do that no problem man.. plenty of room to grow too.. i would say you will be safe to make about 750-800 at the crank on that set up if not more

Look up spintechs or any of the custom rod mufflers, nice and thin.
