Sounds like a decent combo. 400hp isn't unrealistic. Make sure that your tune is good and do it right the first time. Better safe than sorry. Two Thumbs Up!

i think 400 is a little underrated. slap a more turbo friendly cam in it and with 110 gas i would think you would be in block splitting territory

You can get all sorts of custom cams made if you want, but the stock cam is enough to split the block.  Some people have been having some luck with the F cam too.  I'm sure you'll find a whole list of suitable cams to use if you search for it, but the stock one will definately get you to the power goals you are looking for and then some.

My car made 439 RWH thru a c4 and 3.27 gears. I had a bone stock shortblock with bolt on tfs heads on 10psi. I have no girdle and that was on 93 octane. That was using stock fuel lines, a sigle 255 intank, aeromotive rails with 42's for injectors. I used a .96 a/r turbonetics 62-1 I picked up from veeco and fabricated all the piping myself. After bigger fuel lines and a100pump with a better tune, the car now made 549 RWH and stll with a stock factory block. I have my entire build on this site as well.
Here is a video link of the mustang. This run was with the factory fuel lines at 11psi on 93 octane.

Your goal is very realistic, good luck and make sure to post your progress.
