I'm just waiting on my egr delete plate so I can bolt up my throttle cable, and then I'll be able to take this bitch for a drive. I just wish my bov wasn't fucking blue.....alskdf;skj http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_xabtwweUk

blacksaleen, could you send me a list of the cold side parts you used? This looks similar to what I may do. Do you have anymore pics? Where did you get and what size intercooler is that? If you don't mind, send the list to wyldridegt@yahoo.com and any other pics you may have. Thanks! Todd

If you don't mind, send the list to wyldridegt@yahoo.com and any other pics you may have. Thanks! Todd I'll post on here, just incase anyone else is curious and looking to do something similar, my coldside was built with: 2 180* 2.5" U bends 2 45* 2.5" bends 1 90* 2.5" bend and about 2-3ft of straight 2.5" pipe, however I believe theres enough leftovers from what you cut up to reuse if you really wanted to save on $$ As far as silicone fittings and stuff are concerned, I tried to keep those to a minimum, My pipes prob could have used "straight" couplings in all the areas except for one, by the fender apron. I found that the hump hose that is sold by RPS works awesome if you have a tube that isn't "just right" there really is some flex allowed with these couplings so if you get close enough those should work. A couple things to keep in mind when doing the coldside, I tried to make sure the pipes wouldn't hit any metal in the fender area or anywhere else so there wouldn't be any rattling, double check the location of your BOV before you put it on, I wasn't thinking when I put mine on and it was too high and hit the hood, I had to cut a section of the pipe out and rotate it and reweld. All in all it was very simple to do, it actually took be about 3-4 hrs to make my whole cold side (minus i/c) and that was doing everything myself. I got the intercooler core from PTK I believe a few years ago, however I believe VS racing sells a similar one that is pretty affordable that I would look into... I had 3" outlets on my intercooler, I should have had them 2.5 to go along with the rest of the cold side. I moved my ABS to the driverside, however I think it could have been utilized in teh stock location, I had to do a lot of monkeying around with my kit because I had a PA tubular k-member and the BG CUSTOM TURBO headers were not made for that. All the piping I got from racing solutions (site sponsor) I actually bought the coldside kit they offer and it worked out mint. If you are contemplating doing this yourself really don't hesitate. If you can weld, and have a sawzall or something of the sort it's a breeze. Be sure to have a sharpie around because it comes in handy when you need to mark the pipes for clocking etc. If anyone has any other questions llet me know Jim

no no, you're probably looking at Darins site, Race part solutions, that's a different place than Racing Solutions, both are site sponsors and their links are up on top.... I think racing solutions site is down right at this exact moment though. I got all my pipe from racing solutions, all my couplings and fittings and other misc stuff from RPS, and got my V-bands from BG CUSTOM TURBO (haven't found any better ones than the ones he offers)

yeah I know wtf, I finally got in my egr delete plate so i have working throttle linkage and it's freaking raining here.... I'm hoping I get some time this weekend to try to take it out for a little bit of a spin since they're talking about possible snow on monday... It's gonna be hard having it sit all winter, I don't think a winter has gone by since I started working on cars that I had one finished with nothing really to do till the spring..... I was just gonna say.... You should put them to good use Hopefully. It was a lot easier for me to fab this stuff up with the pics you had posted from your kit... I hate to say it but it's too bad you still didn't have that car, our two prob would have been pretty competitive against eachother.

About the EGR delete plate, where did you get it. I once bought one from Egay, and the piece of shit did not fit. Can you post a pic when you install it?

I got mine from UPR it was like 40 bucks, fit perfect. I had to cut the cruise control area off the throttle cable bracket cause it hit the fms valve covers, but that was it. Everything else fit minty, I put some good ol orange rtv on the side going to the intake and just used the gasket from that to the tb. I got it today (after waiting 9 days) Fucking ups will dick me over anyway they know how. I'll get some pics of it for you later this week and post em up.

do you have a part number, I just went to the UPR site and I could not find a plate specific for 94-95, It showed 86-93, and 96-04 only.

well, I'm using a fox body TB, because I don't have the elbow on the car, so I don't think they have a "sn95" specific one. If you were to use the one they have you'd have to run a fox tb, and not have the sn95 elbow in.

are you using the elbow on the car now? Couldn't you just use freeze plugs to block it off? I thought there was just 2 holes to the egr coming off that elbow...maybe my memory is wrong...

Yes, I'm still using the elbow. I have plans of doing the Fox style throttle body and flipping the upper intake, but that will be the winter after this. I had the EGR hooked up (blocked), because I had the stock computer and did not want the check engine light to come up, but now that I am going with a stand alone, I want to eliminate it all together to clean the engine comparment a little bit more. Freeze plug, that's a good idea.
