You probably know Herman at Cherry Turbos, he' s just on the outskirts of St. Thomas, he has built 4 turbos for me so far, very nice guy!

I had an issue with the wrong flexplate, i had a 164t and bought a 157t thinking thats what my setup had before. New 164t flexplate is on the way then it'll be ready to drop in and assemble the rest of the shit.

Thanks rdakota340. I got some stuff assembled tonight, but i'll be relocating the regulator as its too close to the downpipe and header. I know its not legal for the track...but it looks as if i'll have to mount it on the firewall.

fuel lines finished, oil feed and return lines done, exhaust mocked up ready to be welded, tranny cooler installed, intake ported and ready to install.

i'm going to throw the battery switch tomrrow, check all systems (fire extingusher very handy) and fill the fuel cell to check for leaks. It's getting to the point in time when i have to fire it up. Wish me luck!

a few final pictures before i fire it up this weekend. I threw the switch for the battery....no smoke or flames, all is good in my world thus far!  The pipes off the mufflers are a bit too low, i'll undo the clamps and spin them upwords a bit for more ground clearance. Three ten inch fans on the beast, two pullers behind the rad and a pusher down low infront of the intercooler. Hopefully it will keep the engine temps in check, time will tell! |

At 10pm tonight (July 17th) i joined the running turbo car gang! I have some small exhaust leaks, i need to set the timing, fix a small tranny cooler line leak and do a few other little odds and ends....but the damn thing runs!!!
