Hey creampuff , on both of are turbo cars we are running the 31x12x4 front mount A2A intercoolers ...!! On the coupe , we log all of the air intake temps on the runs and by 400 ft into the run the intake charge temps stay around 18-21 degrees of the outside ambient temps of that day ... the highest we've seen this late summer is around 116 degrees on the logs and that was a pretty hot day and we backed out alittle timng on that run .We are working on some Co2 spray coils that will spray a denser spray pattern over the complete intercooler to drop the air density into the 60 or 70 degree range to run a more agressive tune and make more power with lower boost setting ... We haven't giving up on the MP 70 turbo just yet , but we are having to come up with different ideas to make more effient power out of the MP 70 . I believe that with denser air charge temps and a .81 a/r housing , we should see a 9.50 pass before the years up ....... I'll keep you guys posted on the progress ......       Later  Rob.R

PS! heres sum pics of my twin set up we just finished , and it's and all stock motor besides a 70 mm throttle body ........

Thanks for the info. And the twins look good. I think we might have a boost leak then. We also log all passes with our fast, and we are at 160 degrees off the bottle and 120 on the bottle. But this is at 18 to 20 psi. What do you think?

Saturday , we had some time to drive to a 1/8 mile track and do some suspension testing and tried to run some low 6 second passes , but could not make more then 12# of boost due to a broken w/g spring .... Angry! But , here a vid of the testing and still running the .68 a/r housing on the MP 70 ............Car was running mid to low 1.30 short times ..... Oohyah!

Heres the link to the vid ....

Hey Shaun ,were running a 31x12x4 A2A with 3" inlet and outlet and it's a horizontal flow model ..... Sad to say , we had fun with the stock short block combo and a MP 70 turbo and never hurt any parts on the set up , but it's time to pull it out and get the car ready for the Dart block 331 and a 91 mm turbo for next year to run some 10.5 tire races in the area ..... Here a still shot of some air time ....... Drive

Theres a guy on my local board that is running a MasterPower T70 on a 2 bolt production block and he is in the low 9s. He is looking to hit the 8's actually, and he is not too far off. I will post a link, and a vid.

http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/ford-tech/350297-my-data-page-cochese-pics-vids.html Info on the car, and some misc videos.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/7ac0d46a-1a96-4bba-a3c2-9887017e34b2.htm His low 9 second run at like 152 mph.

He would have hit 8's but with some header failure, which I will not mention what company, he had to call it a day.
