Twin Turbo 05 Mustang GT 302 Stroker (933rwhp 797rwtq)

We have been toying around with a low milage 05 GT. The car had a D1SC making a good bit of boost, but just lacked the punch that the old 99 Turbo Cobra had. We lost a fuel pump with the Procharger and burnt a piston pretty good. So we dropped in a 5.0 stroker with upgraded heads. We dropped the D1SC in favor of a pair of GT35Rs from Garrett. I have the manifolds built (just need to finish the wastegates). I'll post the pics when I get them all loaded.

Thanks for the compliment on the direct port kit. I've got around to welding in the 38mm wastegates and installed the long block and manifolds for the last time. 
I'll be installing the transmission and intercooler on Tuesday. I still need to build the cold side a down pipes, but I hope to have that done by the weekend. It would be nice to get it running by next weekend for some break in miles before we head out for Mustang Week.

Just a little update on the car. I have most of the downpipes done. The right side isn't to bad to get a 3 inch downpipe in. The driver side is a whole different story. It will fit but boy is it tight. I have the computer moved and need to finish the fuse box. It will be where the battery was. Also need to put the battery in the trunk and do the fuel system. We will be running a return system with an A1000. We still plan to take the car to Mustang Week. We won't have a chance to have any powder coating done before we head out though. Lots of work to do before next week. Wish us luck.

Well, the intercooler is mounted and the pipes from the turbos to the intercooler are done. All of the water and oil lines have been run to the turbos. The fuel pump and filters are mounted. I need to finish the pipe from the intercooler to the T/B. All is going well but I'm running out of time to make it to the beach. We have 5 days left until we leave. I will take a few more pics on Sat.

Well, I didn't have the time to post any updates as we stayed unit at least 3am every night to get this finished in time for Mustang Week. We made it with minutes to spare. The car now has about 125 miles of cruising the beach under it belt, so by next week we'll see what it will do with a few more pounds of boost. The car feels so good at part throttle I can't wait. I got it up on the wastegate a few times and had full boost under 2700rpm. (5psi springs). The few pics of the car done are a little dark, so I'll take some outside in the next day or so.

Looks amazing... Pray you don't drop the drive shaft and take out the fuel system though. You might want to put a loop in there...

We had an injector problem with one of the 60s. (leaking while the engine was off) We have now installed a new set of 83s and also finished the exhuast out the rear of the car. I also changed the gear down to a 355 gear set. We have almost 1000 mile one the car now so we will be turning it up soon.

Just a small update. I'm re-doing the  fuel pickup and building the trunk for the speaker box.
