Anybody see merit in the small claims idea? My experience has been that if they are going to give anyone their money back, they would start with those who have taken legal action against them not those who have merely complained. Also, in Alabama the limit is $3000. Maybe Texas is higher.

The credit card idea is good too. Dispute the charge or report it as fraudulant activity, although they will probably say that no fraud has been committed since they are "working" on your kit.

This would be my next effort, but the only thing is that I would have to fly there being that I am far away and that would cost a lot of money. I was told that if everyone around the U.S. were to file a claim with Paul Elliot, Assistant Attorney General and Chief (address: Office of the Attorney General P.O. Box 12548 Austin, TX 78711-2548) that this would become a much more serious crime against PTK. This also should be sufficient for them to have a class action lawsuit against them, which would help us get a resolution. Either way they would either have to refund us or get arrested or misleading the public and possibly fraud. If anyone got ideas on how we can get all or most of the victims please offer input. We would have a much stronger case if we were all together.

Exactly what i was waiting for. One person that we could all bombard with our issues. I tried the Attorney Generals office on my own before and was told to file with the BBB. Maybe this time they'll hear me out if we ALL complain about PTK/S.

Still no reply by either e-mail or phone.  We're disputing the charges to just get the money back.  The bank told us it will take a few months for it to all go through...

So what did I get out of this?  Basically loaned them money for about 6 months interest free...Will be $600 short for about 6 months with a new shop that hasn't been around for it's first year yet, obviously the money could have been much better used....Still need $600 worth of parts for the customer's car to get it finished and running...The list goes on.

I think people should take note so they don't get screwed over next.

what type of payment did you use? if you used a check was it a personal check or a bank check? i wouldn't mind trying to get my money back some way from my bank if it was even possible.

They have been like this since they opened their doors.  I'm sure most of the people, who have been here long enough, remember all the horror stories back around 2002/03, when they opened.  I was one of their first ten customers and it took me over a year to get my parts, albeit I did finally get them.

I also delt with TDC, if anyone remembers them.  I gave them a deposit, and they were actually decent enough to call me and say they were closing, and call my credit card company.  So I did, and got all my money back.  I doubt the credit card company got theirs though.

We FINALLY got ahold of them yesterday.  They don't answer the main line, but pick the fax line up right away.  They claimed they shipped our parts weeks ago, but were quick to offer sending us a check for refund when we said we never got it.  So whether the actually shipped it or not, I don't know...But they are fixing this problem and sending us a check.  I'll let you all know when we get it.

They have every excuse in the book. They made so many promises to me and others that are waiting that I wouldn't hold my breath on that one, but if they do then you are a lucky one. I mean if they really shipped it out weeks ago, where did it go? We have to remember that these are probably the same guys trying to pump up their own auctions on ebay lol. Check out the winners sn. Oh don't you worry, i got that excuse once before. But who knows, maybe they did send your part out  But just to further elaborate on my experience with that PTK/S "response." I asked for my tracking number immediately after Dalton said he shipped it out. Did he give it to me? Nope, he called me back a few days later and gave me the tracking number. I just thought it was fishy.

  Took me 14 months to get my turbo kit from them.  Paid in full up front.  I trust Dalton about as far as i can shit.  Real gentlemen on the phone though, I just know that he doesnt speak the truth or have one iota of integrity.   Excellent fab work.  But i really hope that they tank as a company.

got my blower replacement manifold today but not from them.

i had another shop call dalton and ship it to them so they could finish it.

i'm on a deadline that ran out 2 weeks ago.

no real complain other than my manifold is uncoated and i had to pay extra machining costs

good quality part though so far.

even the dude at the local shop was saying it's hard to get them on the phone

My name is George Anthony, and  I don't mean to bash any company by any means, but I'm having the same problem. I ordered just the hot piping for a pro drag radial kit for my 351w on 9/11. I talked to Greg and told him my setup which would consist of a 351w with the 9.2 deck and I also told him I was using Victor sr. heads and a garrett gt42-76 turbo with a t4 flange. I told him straight up that I was hearing good and bad about their company. Parts were great, but time and customer service was the issue. I told him to be straight up with me and tell me if it was going to be 7days, 7wks, or 7 months. Greg's exact words were it  would only be 7 days because they already had a kit built, and the only thing that had to be done was the flanges had to be changed to fit my heads. He told me that they were on scheduele and I shouldn't have any problems receiving my kit in 7 business days. Well I called on 9/18 to find out how far along they were into the kit and Dalton told me it was on the fabricators list to be done and it would probably done by thursday 9/20. He told me that I would recieve a call on friday with my tracking number. Well on 9/21 reciveved no call, so on tuesday 9/25 I called and called and finally got ahold of greg and he told me that it was in the process of being wrapped, and he would give me a call the next day with more info on when it would be shipped and my tracking number. Well recieved no call the next day, so I've called everyday day about every 45min and no one has answered the phone. So right now all I can do is wait, but I'm gonna give them their 21days, just to see what happens. After those 21 days are up I have no doubt in my mind that I will be taking a trip to texas. If I can put $20,000.00 into a car I have no problem spending a few hunderd dollars on a plane ticket, " AND I KNOW FOR SURE I'M NOT THE ONE THEY WANT TO TALK TO IN PERSON" They were quick to take the $1379.00 out of my checking account, but are very slow to send me my products, but they can guarantee they have met the right fool now. It would mean more to me if they would just have someone answer the phones and just tell me that they are behind, I would feel alot better with that. I know I can get my money back becasue it was charged through a Visa Debit Card, and my bank is very strict on fraud related charges, but I want my parts I ordered. Right now I feel like I'm getting screwed around, but if I don't recieve my stuff soon they are gonna know I DON'T GET SCREWED, I DO THE SCREWING, AND THAT'S MONEY IN THE BANK!!!

Guess what, just so happen about an hour and a half after I posted my reply pro turbo called me and said that my parts would be shipped out tomorrow, so I will keep you guys updated and we will see if I get a call tomorrow with my tracking numbers.

Hey guys I order a kit in feb 2006 paid in full, and still missing parts head unit, coil over kit, some v clamps i called for months and no response and one day about 3 month ago i acully got hold of somebody and  Itold them my situation, and the guy said Dalton was out of the office, and he would call me the next moring , it has been 3 month a  I am still waiting for that call. good luck trying to get all your parts.

Just as I suspected no phone call today with tracking numbers. Called a few times today and no one has answered the phone as usual. Greg was so polite, and cooperative on the phone when I talked to him yesterday, well now my "NICE" has ran out, and they are gonna see how much of an ass I can be if I don't get something on monday. Now I'm to the point where I will be making a trip to texas if they don't give me something on monday.
