306 Innovative GTB-88 Dyno results
« on: November 02, 2007, 12:52:21 PM »

I made it to the dyno with my 92 notch with a Dart based 306, innovative 88 turbo , forged internals and the results were as follows.  On 93 pump gas and 15psi =  558rwhp.  C-16 and 25psi = 738.99rwhp blowing through the converter as it locked at 6400 rpm.  I will make a couple of runs with the converter as is then get it tightened up.  Runs made on a DynoJet dyno.

Good numbers and you are right that it musta blown thru the converter because at 10 more psi, it woulda been mid 800's at least Two Thumbs Up!.

Those are some pretty nice numbers for an auto.  What size exhaust housing are you running?  Spools pretty good for a 306ci.  Take her to the track and let us know what she does.... 150+mph!!!! Two Thumbs Up!

It has a 1.32 a/r turbine housing.  I drove the car yesterday and it comes off the trans brake very well.  From idle it is a little laggy.  I will look into obtaining a smaller turbine housing this winter but I am not sure if they make one for the Innovative 88-GTB.  I Plan on going to Atco this weekend for some shakedown runs.

Nice numbers!  If the converter is a little too loose you can try running Hy-gard in it to see if tightens the converter enough!
