Ok I got my transmission taken out modified everything that needed to be modified and reinstalled. Also got belt installed and had to add a tensioner. On the transmission side when input the trans in the first time I noticed 3 things. 1st the stifflers crossmember needed to be clearanced for the dump valve. The starter engagement plate was for a different bellhousing and flywheel so I cut it apart and trimmed it and welded it back together. Last things I noticed was the brackets that held the trans crossmember were starting to pull away from the floor so I beat them back to the floor and welded them

Oh I also started to fit the ends on my cold side, I made them thicker so they wouldn’t crush when I tighten them

Small update, ordered a bunch of parts but haven’t really done anything but puShed her around the shop. My back brakes are on the way! Hopefully be in next week. Ordered most of the parts to at least run my exhaust behind my front tires for now. Got I want to say almost all the fittings to plumb my car. I’m hoping to give her a little time Saturday:! I do have my nieces birthday party to go. I’m hoping to get my exhaust tacked up this weekend, so I can weld 65EC5889-C73A-4D3D-ADF9-09D6E8E3972A.jpeg #ad

Been plugging away little by little! Made some turbo mounts got the exhaust to the bell housing on both sides and almost all the way welded up. Also got the radiator fittings welded on and the valve covers. Got the radiator pretty much mounted. Plumbed probably about 90 of the whole car. I still need to do the co2, brake lines, and I want to redo on line in the engine compartment. I didn’t have enough line to run around the back of the engine so I did it in front. I will change it later, I’m ready to hear her run. I do have to put o2 bungs I down pipes also.
Now the steps back. I realized I need to change my intercooler. When I bought the intercooler it’s was designed around a single 88, now with twins I think a different intercooler will fit better. On top of that I kinda felt my intercooler was a little on the small side. So… I’m going to order the 1300hp treadstone intercooler. I will pull some some dimensions in the morning and order it on Monday. I am getting super excited I think I might actually hear it run soon!
I do need to call and follow up w some electrical parts I ordered

If what I'm seeing is correct, I wouldn't tee the turbo drains together. You should have a-10 line from each to the pan

I agree. also some concern about them being in the bottom of the pan. Id assume that the oil level is above that point? Should be tapped in above the oil level so it will drain and not back up into the line.

Nice looking setup, you doing a nice job on it.

HUGE concern with turbo drains connecting to the bottom of the pan. They HAVE to be above the oil level otherwise the oil from the pan will fill the drains to the level of the oil in the pan.

I understand about moving them up, my question is I went from 2 -10 to 1 - 12 is that ok?
Also got the new intercooler mounted and my outlet tube pretty much fit! Talk about luck!! E70E9F28-101B-4FE0-BFE1-0667FFE43395.jpeg #ad

After looking back through your pictures, I don't know that you will be able to drain those turbos pack to the pan. You may be stuck having to drain them to a sump and pumping the oil back to the pan.

I think if he runs hard line with a flex section they will do it. Just need to be a little above the oil fill level.

Didn’t fix the oil drains yet but got her fired up! The shim plate is rubbing the bell housing and I need to fix the pipe to the intake also but everything else is good! Waiting on a switch panel, but going to take her home for a few weeks to recoupe a little money! 62888BE1-BEDC-49A7-BC06-E8BA7F966970.jpeg #ad

    Really looks great Mike!
Get those drains working properly, don’t screw around saying you will do it later!
Going to be a fairly stealthy engine compartment too!

No they are definitely in round one of fixes. I just wanted to give it a little bit of time to come up with a solution I’m happy with. My partner pushed me really hard to get it running before the end of August and we succeeded! I had to rig up a switch panel because mines not here yet. I’ve just been working on it for 5yrs and hearing it fire was very exciting and is a big push. I did get the intake tube almost finished tonight and fixed a water leak at the thermo stat. I’m going to finish wiring the water pump and fans correctly tomorrow.
with these I will switch between the ends and not need a dedicated charger for ur car
