Yeah, I’m right there w u! After this round I have to take a little brake. I spent a little to much and need to save for a little bit and do a little work around the shop. Oh and my house. But…. My hot side is ready for pick up and my valve will be in tomorrow!

Got her back up and running. Started trying to fix some stuff and getting all the bugs worked out. Finally got my alternator fixed. All got a lot of little wiring for the lights completed. Figured ,out my fan quit working, will try to look at that tomorrow. The car is definitely starting to look like a car again! DE3A1EC0-41B2-463A-AC80-415E9FE06986.jpeg #ad

Not part of my build but I’m started to build a new rear end jig table, I’m really excited about! I will probably build a new rear for my car instead of changing stuff on my housing. Here is a picture straight from the water jet. I already have the support rails installed and ready to weld Monday morning. 473AB9A3-0322-4A37-9595-FD44C3A544AE.jpeg #ad

A little update been workin all the bugs out of the car, trying to make everything work and just making it more functional and fun.
Did some track testing 2 weeks ago, and then went back this past week to a local race event a few hours away from home. Went just basically to get some seat time and test. I must say it’s been very challenging and fun to watch how fast the car has turned around and just keeps getting faster! I think the car will be faster then I thought capable w my combo, but we shall see.
We have been struggling making boost/ and or w the boost controller. I had a few mechanical failures like my Mac valve melting, a bad dome pressure sensor, we had a line melt to the blow off valve, and then once I fixed the same line had a fitting blow apart. The cold side piping then started to pop off bc I forgot to bead roll the tube ends. Then we got that fixed went our fastest pass and decided to enter the free entry shoot out. I got treed and then I reeled him in when he wheeled, as a passed him I had a bellow on the hot side fail and the car lost all boost for him to win.
As the car laid over and he passed me again, I thought to myself at first “I am replacing all the push lock lines in my car as soon as we get back!”[at the time I thought that’s what failed]. To just feeling great full to have set a goal so long ago and actually be driving back to the pits beaten and happy. Its taken me about six years to get to this point in my build, a lot of help from a lot of people and a lot of understanding from my family! By no means is the car done, I just felt getting to enter into a race was a big milestone for me, and gives me that push to get more stuff checked off the list.

That’s great Mike, car looks killer and those little bugs while bothersome at the time, are so minor.
I can’t wait to get mine of jack stands and get to your point, excellent job Mike!

Great job! Yep, shakin the bugs out takes time, but it's fun. What size are your hotside expansion joints? I have a bunch of quality ones here for cheap.

Well it’s been a while. I ended up breaking a rocker during some street driving. I did get her torn all apart, I figured out what was wrong, sold my heads and starting doing some small fixes, and updates. Mostly stuff I had already bought bc money has been a little tight and I haven’t had that much car money lately.

My engine bay turned yellow, so I went ahead and built a new puke tank. Moved the tank location, so I welded up the old holes and made a new carbon fiber cowl.
My cowl area was up next. I fitted a race craft carbon fiber cowl to get access to my msd. From there I moved to the inside where my son started to make templates of pieces we need to cut to make my plastics look nice in the back. I stopped on that though bc I realized I need to make a few decisions about how far I’m going to take this update and finish getting all my lights working so I can install the drivers rear plastics and touch up the paint on my cage.
